Torque magazine, together with The Straits Times, will select the best new cars of 2016 in the collaborative ST-Torque Awards, which is Singapore’s most authoritative editorial recognition of vehicular excellence.
The selection is based on a robust voting system that is the gold standard for local automotive awards, and the judges on the jury are the most respected in the industry, with about 200 years of collective experience in motoring journalism.
The new car with the highest score will emerge as The Straits Times Car of the Year 2016.
