Official Honda agent Kah Motor has introduced the updated Honda HR-V in Singapore. Also known as the Vezel, the current-generation HR-V was officially introduced here two years ago.
The changes to the HR-V are relatively minor. Exterior-wise, the crossover gets a new bumper design, while the redesigned grille gets black trim above it. A new horizontal tail-light cluster features at the rear. A new paint hue called Sage Green is now an option as well.
Inside, this popular Honda crossover has a new centre console that now features USB-C ports, which can charge devices quicker compared to USB-A ports. Drivers also enjoy a new 9-inch infotainment screen that comes with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Like the pre-facelift model, the latest HR-V comes in two versions: DX, which is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre inline-4, and e:HEV, the brand’s petrol-electric hybrid powertrain.
Honda claims that the DX model can average 16.4km/L, while the e:HEV does 20.4km/L.
Both cars are equipped with Honda Sensing, the carmaker’s suite of safety features as standard. The list includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM).
Prices for the DX start from $164,099 while the e:HEV variant is priced at $187,099. Both figures include COE and are valid from now till 7 August 2024.
