Police have announced details of road closures for the upcoming Singapore Night Festival.
The festival will be held on Aug 19 and 20, and from Aug 25 to 27.
Armenian Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Loke Yew Street and Stamford Road, and Loke Yew Street will be closed in the direction of Armenian Street.
Only police and emergency vehicles will be allowed on the two roads.
The roads will be closed from 7.30pm to 2am the next day on the Fridays and Saturdays of the festival (Aug 19 and 20, and Aug 26 and 27).
On Aug 25, a Thursday, the roads will be closed from 9.30pm to 12.30am the next day.
Police said in a statement: “Parking restrictions along the peripheral roads will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking and causing obstruction will be towed.”
Members of the public who have any queries are instructed to contact the National Heritage Board, which is organising the festival, at 9100-5472.
