Renault has confirmed that its new diamond logo, first previewed on the Renault 5 Prototype, will grace its entire product range by 2024.
With no signature or typography, the new logo has been designed to “live in movement”.
According to Renault, its flat design facilitates animation, not only on video and digital media, but also on vehicles, as part of their welcome sequence.
“We have rethought it to become more iconic, simple and meaningful, a true timeless signature, without superfluous effects or colors, with a contemporary takeover of the lines, an essential part of our graphic heritage,” explains Gilles Vidal, Head of design at Renault.
Expect the new logo to first appear on Renaults to be launched next year.
