Car manufacturers have always used lifestyle merchandise and other car-related products to grow and reinforce their brand. Mercedes-Benz for example, has its own in-car scents, while Rolls-Royce, has its own colour palette.
Well, Polestar wants in on the action as well, and has jumped in with the launch of its own soundscape.
The nine-hour scape was developed in collaboration with composer, musician and artist Lisa Nordstrom. Comprised of ambient soundtracks, it is said to complement Polestar’s minimalist and uncompromising design values.
Think of it as a musical embodiment of the brand.
And yes, in case you’re wondering, the soundscape will be used in Polestar Spaces around the world. You can also, of course, stream the track in the comfort of your own Polestar 2.
If you’re curious, the soundscape is available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. It is divided into four tracks that represent the hours of the morning, midday, afternoon and evening.
Should you find the names of the tracks familiar, it’s because Polestar has named them after the exterior paint options available for the Polestar 2.
