An accident involving a trailer and the steamroller it was carrying has caused a traffic jam along Upper Serangoon Road on yesterday (July 6) evening.
A photo sent in by a Straits Times reader showed the fallen steamroller blocking the middle lane. The right-most lane was also partially blocked.
The Land Transport Authority first tweeted about the accident, which occurred after Hougang Street 21, at 5.36pm.
It warned motorists to expect congestion till Tampines Road.
When ST visited the scene at around 7pm, the middle lane – with the steamroller still present – had been cordoned off.
ST has contacted the police, which said it is aware of the accident, for more information.
