Champion Motors has unveiled the new Swift Sport here at Singapore’s very own KF1 karting circuit.
MILD AND WILD
The new Suzuki Swift Sport utilises a turbocharged 1.4-litre engine that alongside a 48V mild hybrid system to offer a total of 127bhp and 235Nm of torque. And yes, that engine is also mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
A kerb weight of 1020kg should help ensure thrilling performance.
PRESENCE ON THE ROAD
Standout exterior features that distinguish the Sport model from the regular Swift include the carbon fibre-style embossing for the front grille, front-lip spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser.
Viewed from the side, the Suzuki Swift Sport gets 17-inch polished alloy wheels. Finishing off the car at the rear are dual exhaust pipes with a racing car-inspired central rear diffuser lamp.

In the cabin, the car’s aspirations are also highlighted by red accents on the dashboard.
The driver’s instrument panel also sports a red contrast background while the 4.2-inch multi-info display gets additional boost and temperature displays.
Semi-bucket front seats provide lateral support to the driver and “co-driver”. A chrome-finished shift knob and alloy pedals further enhance the cockpit’s sportiness.
Seven exterior colour options are offered for the Suzuki Swift Sport, with three dual-tone options offered on an indent basis.
The Swift Sport also comes with the firm’s Safety Support Suite, which offers features such as Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Hill Hold Assist amongst others.
New owners of the Swift Sport will also receive a complimentary upgrade to Motul H-Tech 100plus OW-20 for the first year of servicing.
