Mitsubishi has revealed the all new Outlander crossover via Amazon Live.
All-new from the wheels up, the Outlander features Mitsubishi’s new Dynamic Shield grille. It is complemented by muscular fenders, bold proportions and available 20-inch wheels for added road presence.
The new Outlander utilises a newly developed platform and 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine. Power is transferred to the road through Mitsubishi’s rally-derived Super All-Wheel Control system.
Two-wheel-drive variants of the Mitsubishi Outlander will get a drive mode selector that offers five different modes to suit a variety of driving conditions.
Meanwhile, all-wheel-drive variants will get six distinct drive settings, allowing for optimum distribution of drive torque according to surface conditions both on- and off-road.
The Outlander’s cabin features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment display. The latter system now sports Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility. Also new is wireless smartphone charging capability.
Standard equipment for US-bound Mitsubishi Outlander models includes 11 airbags, three rows of seats, USB-A and USB-C charge ports, and 18-inch wheels.
Depending on trim level, the Mitsubishi Outlander can be fitted with 20-inch wheels.
Also available is Mitsubishi’s MI-PILOT Assist driver assistance system with adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist.
Semi-aniline leather seating, integrated navigation using what3words technology, a 10.8-inch full-colour Head-Up Display, Mitsubishi Connect smart-car system, and a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system.
