Honda has revealed the new HR-V.
Sporting a new clean and “coupe-inspired” design, the new HR-V will be offered an e:HEV hybrid powertrain as standard in Europe. No technical details of the new drivetrain have been provided yet, though.
PREMIUM STYLING
Beyond the cleaner design, the car also sports a new integrated grille at the front. A long bonnet and sharper, more vertical sides help ensure generous interior space. These combine with a strong shoulder line and sloping roof to enhance the coupe-inspired aesthetic.
HONDA HR-V: SPACE AND COMFORT
Honda says that the packaging of the hybrid drivetrain has allowed the new car to offer “exceptional spaciousness” in its cabin. The new HR-V will retain its predecessor’s class-leading interior space, with four adults able to sit in maximum comfort.
Contemporary fabrics and soft-touch materials now adorn the new cabin, which sports a modern minimalist aesthetic. The dashboard has been decluttered to draw emphasis on the horizontal sweep of the instrument panel.
Also new in the cabin is an air diffusion system, which creates a curtain of fresh air beside and above passengers, flowing from unique L-shaped vents positioned in the top corners of the dashboard.
The new Honda HR-V also retains the versatile Magic Seats that offer both “fold-flat” or “flip-up” flexibility, depending on the cargo space required.
