The all-new BMW X5 was launched at the 2019 Singapore Motorshow by official BMW agent Performance Motors.
The X5, now in its fourth-generation, is larger, more spacious and more refined than the previous model.
It is also more advanced than before, as it is the first model to be equipped with OS 7.0, BMW’s latest infotainment system.
The new SUV is also the first model to feature LiveCockpit Professional, the brand’s new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.
Said display lets drivers personalise the instrument panel to suit their preferences.
Hey BMW, the carmaker’s Intelligent Personal Assistant, is another new feature.
The xDrive (all-wheel-drive) system is rear-biased to enhance handling.
Rear-wheel-steering can be specified to give the SUV more manoeuvrability around town.
The initial model available is the five-seater xDrive40i variant.
It is powered by a turbocharged 3-litre inline-6 that produces 340hp and 450Nm of torque.
The price (including COE) starts at $342,888 (after $20k VES surcharge).
