Mercedes-Benz Vans has announced a new T-Class.
The new vehicle will utilise a small van platform and is described by Mercedes-Benz as serving the “needs of families whilst also being a suitable companion for active leisure enthusiasts.”
Expect the new T-Class to sit below the current V-Class, with a design oriented more towards private customers than the current Citan.
Mercedes-Benz says the new T-Class offers a large amount of space and is suited to a range of different uses, including passenger transportation. It has even hinted at its use for car-sharing services.
Wide-opening sliding doors on both the left and right-hand sides of the vehicle will allow easy access to the interior. Furthermore, the T-Class is also set to get a fully-electric version alongside conventional drive systems.
