The Mercedes-Benz C-Class range has a new entry-level variant: the C160. Previously, the base model C-Class was the C180.
Don’t be fooled by its model name, though. The C160 does not have a 1.6-litre engine.
Instead, the Mercedes-Benz C160 has a turbocharged 1.5-litre inline-4 with 129hp and 210Nm of torque. This makes it the least powerful (and least sprightly) variant in the C-Class range.
Although this variant doesn’t offer much performance, its equipment list is relatively long.
The C160’s standard features include LED headlights, Active Parking Assist and Tyre Pressure Monitoring. Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and 10.25-inch infotainment screen.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with the 64-colour ambient lighting.
