Kia has revealed the official images of the stunning all-new Sportage.
SPORTY SUV DNA
At the front of the crossover rests a new black grille graphic that stretches across the width of the car.
The new graphic pulls together the main frontal features of the new Kia Sportage, crafting an imposing front volume. The complexity of the front facia is delicately balanced by the simplicity of the main surfaces at the front, including the pronounced bumper.
The side profile of the all-new Sportage stays true to its sports utility DNA, with taut lines cutting and refined body surfaces.
A black roof is now available with the new Kia Sportage. It helps to accentuate the sporting profile and highlight the C-pillar from the flank.
Also noticeable here is a chrome beltline that kicks up onto the rear of the crossover and into the D-pillar, adding to the car’s sporting pedigree.
At the rear, the all-new Sportage maintains its strong road presence with powerful broad shoulders.
A muscular swooping fastback flows into the rear lamps, which have been crafted to give the impression that they cut into the body with fine precision.
The razor rear lamps are also connected by a slim horizontal design, giving the Sportage visual width.
STATE-OF-THE-ART INTERIOR
Just like the exterior, the cabin of the new Kia Sportage also gets a bolder design.
A new, curved display, a slim crush touchscreen pad, and the finely detailed air are the main visual highlights of the car’s new cabin.
The centre console of the new Kia Sportage is said to be ergonomically optimised for both driver and front passenger. Finished in gloss, it provides storage and houses cupholders and soft-touch switches.
The latter sits on a raised profile alongside the shift-by-wire transmission dial.
The Kia Sportage gets driver and front passenger seats that combine high-tech with high comfort in sporting slim shell design.
At the rear of the driver and front passenger seats are integrated hanger-type hooks within the slim headrests, allowing clothing and handbags to be easily fastened in place.
For the first time in the history of the Kia Sportage, an X-Line variant is being offered. The special variant adds a unique bumper, side sill and curved roof rack.
And inside, customers can choose between signature sage green or black seating. The variant will also add bold quilting and black metal wood to further bring to life the model’s confident persona.
