Based on the successful Jaguar Land Rover Academy in the company’s global offices, the new training academy reiterates Jaguar Land Rover’s continual investment in Asia Pacific.
As a dedicated regional training hub, the academy will provide both technical and non-technical training to Jaguar Land Rover’s dealer partners across the Asia Pacific Importer network and regional office staff.
Delivering over 5027 man-days of training when operational, the academy will see more than 300 technicians, sales consultants and service representatives trained to deliver world-class levels of customer service across 37 dealerships in countries within the region.
Training is focused on specific job roles, with a range of specialised programmes catering to various functions, including those in sales, aftersales and technical roles.
The 1289 sq m facility also features a purpose-built workshop with floor space for nine training vehicles, as well as a fully equipped showroom for four cars, complete with dedicated sales and service areas, and with colour and trim units, to provide training in an actual work environment.
Commenting on the launch, Robin Colgan, managing director Jaguar Land Rover Asia Pacific, said, “This represents an important investment in Singapore and in the region, and we are committed to giving our customers experiences they will love. To do that, it is vital that we continue investing in our people and with the new academy, we can now deliver world-class training across the network.”
