Further developed from the current third-generation model, the jazzed-up 2017 Jazz comes with a sporty and modern exterior that includes a newly designed grille and bumpers, along with a new set of LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs). Also, there is a new Jazz RS variant that comes with an exclusive redesign.
The newly introduced Jazz RS has a sporty look from all angles. Its tweaked styling sports an RS grille emblem, RS-spec bumpers with front foglights and new black side mirrors. Inside the cabin are RS-spec seat covers with orange stitching that provide a sportier look and feel, and are exclusively available with the new Phoenix Orange paintwork.
The interior offers space and comfort for every lifestyle, thanks to Ultra Seats with four adjustment modes for more versatile rear storage. Additional features to enhance convenience include a Multi Information Display, air-conditioning with touchscreen control panel, one-push ignition system, a 6.8-inch touchscreen audio system compatible with a wireless phone connection, audio and video connection through a HDMI cable, and a multi-function steering wheel.
The Honda Jazz is powered by a 1.5-litre SOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 117 horsepower and torque of 146Nm. Together with the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which was developed based on Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology, it provides fuel-efficient acceleration. The 7-speed paddle-shift function, cruise control and Eco Assist system help to reduce fuel consumption.
The Jazz also offers a range of safety features, such as a G-CON safety body to enhance protection and protect the cabin’s occupants from omnidirectional crashes, six airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist, Hill Start Assist, ABS with EBD, and a multi-angle rear camera with three-level views.
