A replica of one of the most beautiful cars in the world could be yours to own, courtesy of UK-based firm GTO Engineering.
The firm has revealed its California Spyder Revival, the third in its Revival series.
In essence a reincarnation of one of the most iconic Ferraris ever made, the hand-built, tool room copy is based on the 1960 SWB California Spyder.
Originally designed by Pininfarina and completed by Scaglietti, the California Spyder is one of the best collaborations to ever leave the gates of Maranello.
A total of 106 California Spyders were produced by Ferrari in SWB and LWB guise, making it one of the rarest models to be made.
The California Spyder Revival by GTO Engineering, meanwhile, is set to follow in the original car’s footsteps, with its £750,000 starting price.
You can take heart in the fact that paying that steep price will net you the option to have your car customised to your liking.
GTO Engineering’s car will feature either a standard 3-litre, upgraded 3.5-, or 4-litre engine. And you’ll also get the option to have said engine mated to either a standard 4- or optional 5-speed manual gearbox.
The California Spyder Revival also gets strengthened sills over its original, for increased torsional rigidity.
GTO Engineering additionally states that each California Spyder Revival will be built by hand and cost over 1500-man hours. Money well spent, then.
Buy one and a range of luxurious leathers will be available for you to option in the cabin. Additionally, the small, vintage-style wooden steering wheel fitted with an original style horn is also available.
