Eurokars Group has officially opened the $106m Eurokars Centre located along Kung Chong Road. Construction began in 2017 and was supposed to end in 2020, but it was only completed in January 2023 due to the pandemic.
The eight-storey building, which sits on a 3707 square metre plot of land, serves as the Group’s flagship facility and houses its management and administrative offices. It has a total built-up area of around 9,233 square metres.
It is also home to the BMW Eurokars Experience Centre, and an all-new Rolls-Royce showroom also known as the House of Luxury. The latter is the largest in the Asia Pacific region and the first to feature the carmaker’s new visual identity.
Eurokars Group was founded in 1985 by motor tycoon Karsono Kwee, who is its executive chairman. It is the largest privately-owned multi-brand distributor in Singapore, and represents 11 brands across its entire business, with operations in Australia, China, and Indonesia.
Visitors to the Rolls-Royce showroom are welcomed by doors inspired by the Pantheon grille found on the models, and the doorway is topped by the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy.
Clients who wish to commission their cars will be ushered into the Atelier, a room filled with samples of leathers, wood veneers, embroidery threads and fabrics. There is a special exhibit that shows guests how the car’s ceiling can be personalised with a Starlight headliner.
Also on display are two rare models: The Black Badge Cullinan Blue Shadow and the Phantom Extended Platino. Only 62 units of the former exist globally, while the latter is even rarer as there are only 10 in the world.
The second floor hosts the BMW Eurokars Experience Centre, the first in Singapore to introduce BMW’s Retail.Next Concept. The space displays the cars in a lounge-like atmosphere that is more relaxed compared to a conventional car showroom.
Indeed, even the BMW M area, which is typically in a separate showroom, is integrated here. According to the Eurokars, it “boasts a holistic customer experience that will change the way our customers engage with us and the brand.”
Apart from BMW, the Eurokars Centre also houses workshops for BMW, Rolls-Royce, Pagani and McLaren. The latter two brands are officially retailed by Eurokars Supersports, a subsidiary of the Eurokars Group specialising in exotic cars.
The Eurokars Centre is located at 11 Kung Chong Road, Singapore 159147.
