Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices finished mixed in the first round of bidding in August on Wednesday (Aug 17).
Premiums for Category A – cars up to 1600cc and 130bhp – went up from $52,503 to $53,334.
COE prices for Cat B – cars above 1600cc or 130bhp – however, went down, going from $57,903 to $56,500.
For the open category, Cat E, which can be used for any vehicle type but ends up mainly being used mostly for bigger cars, COE prices also went down, from $58,201 to $56,956.
Motorcycle premiums ended higher, going from $6206 to $6352.
COE premiums for goods vehicles and buses decreased, from $48,302 to $48,001.
