If you’re looking to go green with your business logistics but find the Citroen e-Dispatch a little too large? Well you’re in luck, for there’s now a new, smaller all electric van to consider.
Enter the Citroen e-Berlingo.
SURGING FORWARD
Like the e-Dispatch, power in the Citroen e-Berlingo is supplied via a 134bhp electric motor delivering 260Nm of torque. This motor is animated by a 50kWh battery in the e-Berlingo.
The electric van can be charged via direct current at 100kW. At this rate, the battery will reach 80% capacity after 30 minutes of charging. Once fully charged, Citroen says that the electric van is good for another 293km.
FROM SOURCE TO SOURCE
To facilitate loading and unloading, the Citroen e-Berlingo has large sliding doors on each sides that open into the cargo area.
And at the rear, there are also two large barn doors. These allow cargo to be easily loaded and unloaded, even from a forklift. Cargo capacity here stands at 3800 litres, while the maximum payload is 751kg.
The Citroen e-Berlingo comes with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen display complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Safety features include Hill-Start Assist, an overload indicator, as well as front and rear parking sensors alongside a reverse camera for easier trips to and from any warehouse or delivery destination.
The Citroen e-Berlingo comes with a three-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty and a traction battery warranty of eight years or 160,000 km (whichever is earlier) for peace of mind.
