Cycle & Carriage gave motorists a preview of the new Citroen C5 Aircross at the 2019 Singapore Motorshow.
The C5 Aircross, which is expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2019, is Citroen’s contender in the compact SUV segment.
It will compete against models such as the Peugeot 3008 (its cousin), Renault Kadjar and Nissan Qashqai.
Technical specifications are unavailable at the moment, but Cycle & Carriage says that the C5 Aircross will be powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine.
Like the Peugeot 3008, the C5 has a stylish cabin with an all-digital dashboard and a gearshift lever that looks like it’s from a fighter plane.
For enhanced ride comfort, the C5 Aircross is also equipped with Citroen’s new suspension system, which has a feature called Progressive Hydraulic Cushions.
These are complemented by the wide and thick seats, along with laminated and double-glazed windows.
Confirmation of these and other details on Singapore-bound models will be available closer to the car’s launch date.
