After 20 months of construction at a cost of $55 million, Inchcape Centre was officially opened in conjunction with Borneo Motors’ 50th anniversary as Singapore’s Toyota distributor.
The 10-storey building is situated on 8000 sq m of land at 2 Pandan Crescent and has a total floor area of 20,000 sq m. It handles aftersales requirements (mechanical service, repairs and bodycare) for Toyota, Lexus, Suzuki and Hino, and houses the Inchcape Asia regional headquarters and the Inchcape Singapore management team. There are about 300 employees working in the building.
In addition, Inchcape Centre has a purpose-built regional training centre on the ninth level, a customer contact centre and a 150-seater staff cafeteria.
