Aston Martin’s first and all-new SUV, the DBX, has arrived in Singapore.
ASTON MARTIN DBX: “SOUL OF A SPORTS CAR”
The DBX is manufactured at a purpose-built manufacturing facility in St. Athan, Wales. Built atop a new dedicated SUV platform, Aston Martin says the DBX allows it to push the boundaries of what British design and engineering can create.
The platform is manufactured with extensive use of bonded aluminium, creating a body structure that is both light and incredibly stiff. It also allowed maximum room in the cabin, putting a premium on refinement and class leading spaciousness for both front and rear occupants.
RIDE PERFORMANCE
The DBX is equipped with riple volume air suspension, along with a 48-volt electric anti-roll control system and electronic adaptive dampers. This allows the ride height of the Aston Martin DBX to be raised by 45mm, or lowered by 50mm to tackle a wide range of terrain.
The DBX is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8 engine with an output of 542hp and 700Nm. Cylinder deactivation technology helps improve fuel economy, while still allowing the DBX to clock a century sprint time of 4.5 seconds. Top speed is 291km/h.
An active exhaust system ensures that the luxury SUV that can sound refined one moment and exhilarating the next.
ALL-ROUND VERSATILITY
Transmitting this power and torque to the ground is a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It in turn is coupled to an all-wheel-drive system with an active central differential and an electronic rear limited-slip differential.
With 632 litres of boot space and 40:20:40 split folding rear seats, the Aston Martin DBX offers the flexible load capacity expected of an SUV with class-leading interior space.
A 10.25-inch TFT screen sits elegantly flush in the centre console, while a 12.3-inch TFT display provides a wealth of information to the driver. Apple CarPlay is standard, along with a 360-degree camera system and ambient lighting that offers 64 different colours in two zones.
The Aston Martin DBX is available for viewing and test-drive in the Aston Martin Singapore showroom located at 45 Leng Kee Road.
