AC Cars (England) Ltd is reviving the AC Cobra with a limited-run of zero emission cars.
The AC Cobra Series 1 electric will be limited to just 58 examples, in celebration of the 58 years since the production of the original model.
The first car will be in the spirit of the original cars, and will have a similar ladder frame, adapted where necessary for the electric drive components, including the batteries.
AC Cars is offering a number of upgrades for the other examples of the limited-edition car however, with steering and brake upgrades designed to bring ride and handling back to modern day standards.
A body constructed of high-grade composite and a traditional AC Cobra interior meanwhile, will ensure that the style and appeal of the 1962 original is not compromised.
