If papa used to be a boyracer before he slowed down to settle down, he’ll like the new-age 1.5-litre Honda Civic even more.
The winner of our 2016 ST-Torque Award for Best Family Saloon is a 10th-generation model with everything except the kitchen sink (which could go into the spacious boot anyway) – punchy performance, superb handling, comfortable ride and excellent amenities. It’s a lot of solid Japanese notchback for the money.
And the latest Civic even made me rediscover my ABS (ah beng side). Because my initial impressions after driving the newcomer for the first time were: design chio, driving position swee, cabin and air-con song, performance powderful, handling garang, cruising shiok and steering steady pom pi pi.
