In the dating game, the guy with a car, any car, is well ahead of the fellow skirt-chaser without his own wheels. Chasing chicks is so much easier with a car – figuratively speaking, of course.
Doing it on foot is no fun. Neither is public transport, despite the wonders of ez-link and the door-to-door service provided by over 23,000 taxis and 46,000 private-hire cars out there.
Even a scooter or motorbike is a better dating tool than BMW (Bus, MRT, Wondering how to get to wherever). But two-wheelers offer a special bonus: the poor girl holding you tight as she rides pillion.
Ultimately, however, the car is the choice transport for a couple, whether firm or unconfirmed. Nothing beats being chauffeured from place to place in a fully air-conditioned, slightly anti-social private vehicle that belongs to you (and the bank if you’re still paying off the car loan).
A car also helps the average guy to accelerate his drive-by searching on the highway of love. It is more than just a car key in his pocket; it is the key to improving his hit rate when asking girls out for a first date.
