The Rinspeed Oasis is an autonomous urban electric car with an unusual feature – behind its windscreen is a small garden plot, where drivers with green fingers can grow radishes or cultivate bonsai trees.
PIRELLI CALENDAR 2017
This year’s edition of the world’s most collectable “tyre calendar” was shot by Peter Lindbergh, who also photographed the 2002 and 1996 editions.
The 2017 Cal features 15 women, including actresses Zhang Ziyi, Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman and Uma Thurman. Only 100 elusive copies will be in “circulation” for South East Asia.
At the Paris launch of his latest work, Lindbergh quipped: “Everyone in this calendar, at one point in my life, I wanted to marry. I just didn’t have the balls to ask them!”
FORD-LEGO LE MANS RACECARS
The American automaker has added its two victorious Le Mans 24 Hours racecars to the Lego Speed Champions model range – the 1966 GT40 and the 2016 GT. The new kit, which goes on sale from March 2017, includes racingdriver minifigures, a little chequered flag and a tiny trophy.
