Combining the words “magnetic” and “ignite”, Nissan says its Magnite compact crossover is aimed at buyers seeking “the perfect companion for city adventures”.
A NEW FACE AND BADGE
Nissan states that the Magnite’s exterior delivers a “confident and agile stance while still appearing vibrant and youthful”.

The Magnite’s front grille sports Nissan’s new brand logo.
Up front, the Nissan Magnite features L-shaped daytime running lights below its LED headlamps. The crossover also sports Nissan’s new brand logo within its front grille.
Inside, a spacious layout delivers a high seating position and generous shoulder space between front passengers. Occupants in the rear will supposedly have legroom comparable to those from models a class above.

8-inch infotainment system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Complementing the 7-inch instrument panel is an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
NISSAN MAGNITE: POWERFUL AND FUNCTIONAL
The Nissan Magnite will be powered by an all-new, turbocharged 1-litre engine. No output figures have been provided yet, but it is said that the model will have 205mm of ground clearance and Hill Start Assist.
Nissan’s 360-degree Around View Monitor will also enhance safety by helping spot obstacles around the vehicle.

Rear legroom in the Magnite is said to rival cars from a segment above.
To enhance its handling, the Magnite has been tested at Nissan’s Tochigi Proving Ground in Japan, where models such as the GT-R and upcoming Ariya EV have also been put through their paces.
