Lamborghini has launched the Huracan EVO RWD, the rear-wheel-drive variant of its Huracan model, in Singapore.
Prices for the V10-powered rear-wheel-drive coupe start from $798,000 without COE.
INDIVIDUAL DESIGN
The Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD differs from its all-wheel-drive stablemate with its larger framed front air intakes, along with a new front splitter and vertical fins.
The rear bumper, finished in high gloss black, features a new diffuser unique to the Huracan EVO RWD.
Clients who wish to further customise their car can do so via Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme.
AIMED AT ENTHUSIASTS
The Huracan EVO RWD is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 that produces 610hp at 8000rpm and 560Nm at 6500rpm.
With a hybrid chassis that integrates aluminium and carbon fibre with an aluminium and thermoplastic resin body, the Huracan EVO RWD weighs in at 1389kg. This gives it a power to weight ratio of 439.2hp per tonne.
Zero to 100km/h arrives in 3.3 seconds and the top speed is 325km/h.
Unlike its regular sibling, which is all-wheel-drive, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD is rear-wheel-drive, a layout preferred by keen drivers.
The coupe’s new Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) is specifically calibrated for this layout. It delivers torque to the wheels even when the car is realigning after drifting or side-slipping.
This differs from a “normal” traction control system, which typically cuts power to the slipping wheels until the car has regained its stability. P-TCS delivers torque in advance, avoiding a torque cut and assuring better traction on corner exits.
P-TCS is calibrated according to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD’s chosen driving mode, which is selected via the ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management) button on the steering wheel.
