Audi Singapore has announced the availability of the updated A5 models.
The lineup is comprised of the A5 Coupe, A5 Sportback and A5 Cabriolet. Prices start from $199,900.
ENHANCED EXTERIOR
Changes to the Audi A5’s exterior include a wider and flatter honeycomb grille, along with larger air intakes up front.
LED headlights and tail-lights, along with dynamic turn indicators, are standard on all body and engine variants*. Matrix LED headlights are available as an option.
The Audi A5’s rear now looks wider, thanks to the diffuser insert with trapezoidal tailpipes.
MORE CONNECTIVITY
The new Audi A5 models are equipped with virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch digital display offering a choice of three different layouts.
Audi’s latest infotainment system, MMI Touch is also standard. Users interact with it via the 10.1-inch touchscreen, instead of the previous rotary pushbutton in older models.
Singapore-bound cars* come with the range-topping navigation plus infotainment control centre. It comes with new functions aimed at improving convenience, such as suggesting routes previously driven.
Owners can also access their car’s functions at any time through myAudiapp.
IMPROVED DRIVE
Powering the new Audi A5 models is a turbocharged 2-litre available in two states of tune. The 4-cylinder engine, which produces either 150hp or 190hp, is paired to a 7-speed S tronic (dual-clutch) gearbox.
Both powertrains are equipped with a 12-volt mild hybrid system, which Audi claims reduces fuel consumption by 0.3 litres per 100km.
The mild hybrid system also allows the Audi A5 to coast (by switching off the engine) when the car is being driven at speeds between 55km/h to 160km/h.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The new A5 models are now available at Premium Automobiles. Prices for the new Audi A5 Coupe, Cabriolet and Sportback models start from $199,900.
