Audi has unveiled the fourth generation of the A3, featuring numerous innovations with its new infotainment, suspension, and driver assist systems.
The latest Audi A3 Sportback features compact proportions and a sporty design. The wide Singleframe grille and large air inlets at the front end accentuate the dynamic character of the car.

A head-up display is also available an as option.

It will perform all tasks relating to connectivity and the Audi connect services with Long-Term Evolution Advanced speed.
The Audi A3 Sportback will provide smartphone connectivity via the myAudi app and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Audi’s Phone Box will also connect the device to the car antenna and charge it inductively.
The Audi connect key, which lets the driver lock and unlock the car and start the engine via their Android smartphone, and Amazon Alexa will follow shortly after market launch.
Equipped with Audi Pre Sense Front, Swerve Assist and Lane Departure Warning, the Audi A3 Sportback helps prevent accidents with other road users.
Further assistance systems, such as the lane change and exit warnings as well as the Cross-Traffic and Park Assist systems, are available as options.
Adaptive Cruise Assist will aid in maintaining the speed and distance to the vehicle in front and assists with lane guidance by means of gentle interventions in the electro-mechanical steering.
ENGINES AND GEARBOXES
The new Audi A3 Sportback is being launched in Europe with a choice of three engine versions. There’s a turbocharged 1.5-litre TFSI with 148bhp, and a turbocharged 2.0-litre TDI that delivers either 114bhp or 148bhp.
Power will be transmitted by a 6-speed manual transmission or a quick-shifting 7-speed S tronic (dual-clutch) gearbox.
Audi will be gradually expanding the offer to include further engine versions, including electrified drive systems and versions with quattro all-wheel drive.
SUSPENSION
The suspension of the new A3 Sportback, with a four-link rear axle for engines from 148bhp onwards, will combine pleasant ride comfort with good dynamics.
Upon request, the suspension is also available with Adaptive Damper Control, which also lowers the body by 10mm.
The Sport Suspension meanwhile will deliver tauter suspension and damper tuning, as well as lower the vehicle by 15mm.
