Volkswagen will launch the eighth generation Golf GTI at the Geneva International Motor Show.
The Geneva Internation Motor Show takes place from 5-15 March 2020.
Volkswagen says that the all-new Golf GTI marks the launch of a pure, intelligent and superior high-tech sports car for the digital age.
The new Golf GTI has been digitalised and networked. It will have a multitude of intelligent assistance systems, along with a powerful and stylish design.
The latest Golf GTI is one of the first compact sports cars to communicate via Car2X with other vehicles, taking safety to a whole new level.
It will also have completely digitalised displays and controls. The new generation also has both the red stripe on the radiator grille and an optional LED crossbar integrated in the daytime driving lights.
The power delivery of the Golf GTI’s turbocharged engine promises to exceed expectations. Meanwhile the running gear will sport a new generation of Dynamic Chassis Control, which can be set precisely by the driver.
Volkswagen also promises perfect ergonomics from the standard chequered sports seats, a mainstay of the Golf GTI since its first iteration.
