Britain’s beloved MG brand is returning to Singapore, albeit with models made in Thailand. Today’s MG arose from the ashes of MG Rover and has been part of China’s biggest automaker SAIC Motor since 2007. The two modern MGs coming here are the MG3 and MG6. The MG3 is a stylish 1.3-litre supermini slightly bigger than the Honda Jazz, while the MG6 is a turbocharged 1.8-litre saloon/fastback with Rover 75 roots. In line with their British pretensions, the colour choices will include Manchester Red and Scottish Silver.
