Lotus has just introduced the Evora 400 – its fastest and most powerful model to date. The British automaker claims that “over two-thirds” of the coupe is new, even though it looks similar to the standard Evora. The car is also 22kg lighter than the Evora S.
More significant are the gains in performance. With a new supercharged 3.5-litre V6 producing 400bhp and 410Nm, the Evora 400 can accomplish the century dash in 4.2 seconds. That’s 0.4 of a second quicker than the Evora S, which has 345bhp and 400Nm.
Lotus agent Richburg Motors has plans to bring the Evora 400 to Singapore in the last quarter of this year.
