This year, 3M celebrates 50 years of improving lives in Singapore, with Post-it notes and whatnot. To mark this golden jubilee, 27 black and white cars, adorned with colourful 3M car decals, formed the characters “3M” in an open carpark.
Subsequently, the cars were driven by 200 3M staff across the island, starting at The Grand Stand and ending at the Singapore Island Country Club.
En route, the 50 teams visited five key 3M venues, including the company’s manufacturing plants in Woodlands and Tuas, and competed with one other in various fun tasks at each checkpoint. One station, for instance, required the teams to decorate their cars using 3M Post-it notes in a variety of colours.
Using 3M’s expertise in automotive graphic films , the 3M Heritage Drive was said to have caught the attention of thousands of pedestrians, commuters and motorists in Singapore.
