Bugatti, creator of the spectacular Veyron (the fastest and most powerful production sports car in the world), has opened its first lifestyle boutique. Located in London’s prestigious Knightsbridge district, the store will be followed by similar outlets in Tokyo, Dubai, Doha, Paris and Milan, with the VW subsidiary planning to have up to 30 Bugatti boutiques worldwide by 2020 as part of its brand extension strategy.
The décor of the Bugatti boutique reflects the marque’s distinctive design ethos. For instance, a three-metre aluminium arch inspired by Bugatti’s well-known horseshoe radiator grille is “parked” at the shopfront, the free-standing carbon and aluminium shelves are modelled on the rear-wing mechanics of the Veyron, and the shape of the large carbon fibre table at the centre of the shop traces the signature of company founder Ettore Bugatti.
The luxurious merchandise in the boutique is mainly clothes, bags and accessories.
