The very first Skyline GT-R was released in 1969 as a four-door saloon, codenamed PGC10. It’s equipped with a 2-litre twin-cam inline 6-cylinder producing 160bhp at 7000rpm and 118Nm of torque. Its power is delivered to the rear wheels by a 5-speed manual transmission. That first Skyline GT-R rides on a semi-trailing arm strut suspension. The sportier coupe version, codenamed KPGC10, made its debut in 1971.
Total production of the first model in Nissan’s legendary GT-R series was 1945 units.
