At the 2017 SEMA Show, Kia has unveiled the Stinger GT Federation, a uniquely modified Stinger outfitted with parts and accessories from leading aftermarket suppliers.
The Stinger GT Federation celebrates Kia’s foray into making high-performance aftermarket parts available for purchase through the respective suppliers in conjunction with a vehicle launch. However, these and other aftermarket accessories are not developed or warrantied by Kia, and may not meet Kia quality standards, and any damage caused to an owner’s vehicle due to the failure of an aftermarket accessory may negatively affect the Kia original vehicle limited warranty.
Performance-inspired exterior body accent kits by Air Design USA include a rear spoiler, rear diffuser and redesigned hood vents, which provide a stunning contrast to the custom creamy-orange paint scheme that proclaims the Stinger’s sporting intentions.
A K&N cold-air intake and a low-restriction, quad-tipped Borla exhaust system help the Stinger breathe more freely and are designed to pump an additional 15 horsepower through the twin-turbo 3.3-litre V6 engine, bringing the vehicle’s horsepower to an estimated 380bhp (estimates provided by aftermarket suppliers and not verified by Kia Motors America).
Eibach springs, thicker anti-roll bars and a reduced ride height aim to offer a more spirited driving experience, while aggressive staggered 20-inch TSW wheels shod with Falken tyres round out the Stinger GT Federation’s visual and technical modifications.
