Project CARS 2, a brand new video game celebrating “the ultimate driver journey”, has brought the world-renowned BAC Mono to life on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The latest in the series gives gamers the chance to get behind the wheel of their dream supercar on some of the most iconic and famous tracks around the world, including Silverstone, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Fuji Speedway and Daytona International Circuit.
The ultimate driver’s car, Mono is one of the stars of the game and has been crafted to be as lifelike as possible. The BAC (Briggs Automotive Company) team sat down with Project CARS developer Slightly Mad Studios to perfect Mono’s unique handling ability, rapid acceleration and impeccable braking to make it a must-have in the gamer garage.
Gamers can enjoy the second-generation Mono in all its glory with the new 2.5-litre Ford Duractec 4-cylinder engine modified by Mountune to deliver 305bhp of power and 310Nm of torque.
As the supercar weighs just 580kg thanks to innovative, lightweight materials used in its construction, its power-to-weight ratio is a staggering 525bhp per tonne, making it a joy to drive against fellow enthusiasts.
And thanks to online gameplay, users can pitch the Mono against some of the world’s most exotic cars and allow it to flex its giant-killing muscles. Project CARS 2 also features a One Make Championship that enables a full grid of Monos.
Experiencing the accessible nature of the Mono’s power and poise recalibrates the senses, and BAC’s collaboration with Project CARS 2 ensures the game captures such brilliance perfectly.
