The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet is back after 45 years.
The car will satisfy those who find a convertible from Bentley or Rolls-Royce ostentatious.
The S500 Cabriolet’s biturbo 4.7-litre V8 makes 455bhp and 700Nm of torque, propelling the 5m-long 2.1-tonne topless cruiser from rest to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The car’s roof can be operated at up to 60km/h. The S500 Cabriolet is retailing at $679,888.
